This coming Saturday morning (weather dependant) Jared will be broadcasting the Weekender from the SHIFT Parklet in front of Barren Ground Coffee!!
It looks like a cool day, and so far the forecast is calling for a mix of sun and clouds so hopefully no rain.

I'll be broadcasting from that parklet from 6-9am, and Barrend Ground Coffee will be opening their doors at 7am so you can grab a hot coffee and hang out!
The Parklet that was constructed by SHIFT NWT and YK Healthy Urban Policy Team has become a great community resource, it's not just for customers of the cafe but for anyone who wants to sit down and hang out!
So tune in or come down to hear stories about community building, and a positive vision for the future of yellowknife, and how third spaces are essential to connecting with your neighbours.
Once again, this is totally weather dependant. If it's pouring rain Saturday morning Jared will broadcast the show from the studio and try again Sunday morning.
