Climate Change and Health Action Talk

Virtual event via Zoom on October 8, 2026 | 6:30–8:00 PM MST | A Climate Change and Health Action Talk (CHAT) exploring the connections between active transportation, climate change, and public health, co-hosted by the Climate Change + Health Hub in partnership with the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE).

As we recognize Planetary Health Day of Action on October 6, we’ll explore how active transportation can advance climate action and improve public health.

Hear from Genevieve Montemurro (U of Alberta, SIRCLE Research Lab), Huiying ("Fizzy") Fan (U of Alberta) , and Becca Denley (co-founder of SHIFT NWT) through a series of short, evidence-informed presentations, followed by an interactive panel discussion where they are joined by Suzann Perkins and Adrienne Konrad.
